Regional Programme Manager - Education in Emergencies

Previous experience:

I have been working in the field of humanitarian work for nearly 8 years, mainly in education, partnerships, online training and capacity building in emergency contexts. I have developed a solid expertise on project management, education and capacity building, through technical, field and management roles. In my most recent role as a regional Education Program manager at Save the Children International and my previous role as senior partnership capacity strengthening senior manager at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), I provided capacity strengthening support for both IRC regional staff members and for Syrian and Jordanian local NGOS. I was also responsible for the management of IRC’s online learning platform which provided online learning courses for the staff across the Middle East region. I previously worked as an education project supervisor at Save the Children Jordan, as an education specialist at Jordan River Foundation, and a trainer and content developer for two USAID educational projects in Jordan. Prior to my experience in the humanitarian field I worked as a teacher for 5 years teaching topics such as Math and Science. I am a certified trainer from Inholland University and holds an MBA in Electronic Business Administration.

One thing to know:

I have an identical twin sister,and we have our own secret language no one can understand!
