I have over 10 years’ experience managing and coordinating development and humanitarian programmes, straddling various thematic areas including gender, child protection, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), Food Security and Livelihoods, Capacity Strengthening to mention but a few. I’ve overseen the implementation of both development and humanitarian programmes/projects in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Nigeria, sharing learnings across various global platforms. I have worked in the capacity building sector for over 5 years now and enjoy seeing participants strengthen or acquiring skills and using the same to bring about change in their communities. I hold a degree in Sociology from Moi University, Kenya. I’ve worked with various organisations both national and international.
One thing to know:
When I’m not poring over data sheets, I draw joy from blogging and taking pictures of interesting subjects that nature affords me.
