We are pleased to share our 2025 Snapshot – a brief overview of HLA’s work in 2025.
This snapshot showcases a year of strategic transformation, innovation and impact across the humanitarian sector. The report highlights Humanitarian Leadership Academy’s key achievements, including the completion of the £14 million SHIFT programme, the growth of our Kaya e-learning platform, investment in young humanitarian leaders, and a renewed commitment to strengthening local leadership and convening local voices.
Reflecting on the year, Pawel Mania, Director of the HLA said:
“We’ve sharpened our focus because we believe that strengthening local leadership and convening local voices are essential to building a more effective and more equitable humanitarian system. This isn’t a new direction. It’s a renewed commitment to the purpose that has always driven us.”
The 2025 snapshot offers a look at how we are adapting to a changing humanitarian landscape while continuing our mission to accelerate the movement for locally led humanitarian action.
