WEBINAR: Introducing the Local SPACE hub

Join us to learn more about the Local SPACE hub – a free humanitarian learning hub designed to strengthen locally led action.

📅 Wednesday 10th December 2025 | 🕐 10:00 AM

The hub is part of the ECHO-funded Enhanced Response Capacity (ERC) Project supporting first responders in emergencies in six countries including Nigeria, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Democratic Republic of Congo. The free and open hub is the result of a collective push to make humanitarian learning more accessible. The local SPACE hub brings together curated courses, toolkits, and practical resources across:

  • Humanitarian essentials and technical sectors
  • Programme design, partnerships, MEAL, safeguarding, and leadership
  • Coaching & mentoring materials, community spaces, and templates

In the webinar, attendees will learn how to navigate the hub to access self-paced modules, webinars, tools, checklists and case studies as well as earn certificates and track progress.

You can get started before the webinar, and come ready with your questions:

  1. Open the hub: https://kayaconnect.org/c/localspace
  2. Log in or create a Kaya account
  3. Explore the collections and enroll in your first course
