I have 15 years of professional experience in international development and humanitarian organisations, managing global, regional, and national-level projects with colleagues across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. My varied career has seen me manage refugee camp hospitals, lead an interagency responsible tourism campaign, and advocate to governments and UN agencies across a wide range of issues from protection of former child soldiers, to changes in livestock and agricultural policy.
I’ve held three roles specifically dedicated to organisational development and capacity strengthening, and believe that accessible, contextually relevant, locally driven learning opportunities, across the career spectrum, are key to effective humanitarian response and sustainable development.
One thing to know:
I lived and worked on the mountainous Thai-Myanmar border for six years.
