One of the best things about Kaya is how it connects us to local humanitarian communities around the world. A few weeks ago, we connected with Khaled Al Shaka’a on Facebook, where he had shared how his organisation ‘One Love’ had been using Kaya’s online courses to educate and connect humanitarian volunteers in Jerash Palestinian refugee camp in Jordan.
Mohamad Al Huwaimel has over 30 years of experience working in humanitarian response in Jordan and the region. He is currently the Projects Coordinator at the Green Crescent Society (GCS), a national charity organisation founded in 1991.
Joana Villaflor, 34, is an Independent Consultant. She has worked in the development and humanitarian sector for eight years now, managing and delivering trainings and disaster risk reduction projects.
